Your Files Stay Private

pdf2md.pro processes all PDF files entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. We have no access to the content of your documents.

Data We Do Not Collect

• PDF file content or metadata
• Converted Markdown output
• Personal information from converted documents (no account is required to convert files)

Data We May Collect

We use Plausible Analytics on pdf2md.pro, loaded from stats.aivoxhub.com, to see aggregate page views. Plausible is designed not to use advertising cookies or identify individual visitors.

If Google Analytics is enabled in site settings, Google may collect standard usage data such as page views, approximate location, device type, and cookie or similar identifiers. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data. You can limit analytics cookies with the cookie bar on this site (necessary only vs accept all).

Advertising

This site does not currently show ads. If we later use Google AdSense or similar Google advertising products, Google and partners may use cookies, web beacons, or IP addresses to serve and measure ads. We would then update this page. We do not send document contents, names, email addresses, or other personal details to advertising audiences.

Cookies

• Necessary — theme, language, and cookie-bar choice so the site works
• Analytics — only if you accept optional analytics (Google Analytics, when configured)

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted with Dokploy behind Cloudflare. Hosting and CDN providers may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request time). Those logs do not include your PDF content.
