pdf2md.pro processes all PDF files entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. We have no access to the content of your documents.

Data We Do Not Collect

• PDF file content or metadata
• Converted Markdown output
• Personal information (no accounts, no sign-ups)
• Cookies for tracking or advertising

Data We May Collect

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify individual users. It includes:

• Page views and visit counts
• Browser and device type (aggregated)
• Country of origin (aggregated)

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of their infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
